Our Cosmetology Instructor Program is designed to provide you with the skills you need to become a teacher in the beauty industry. You can develop the skills and confidence to inspire cosmetology students to succeed through a blend of classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and mentorship.

The Instructor course consists of at least 800 clock hours, during which you can learn skills such as classroom management, communication skills, presentation techniques, and lesson planning. The first 150 hours of the program are spent learning the theory behind these skills, and the remaining 650 hours are spent putting those skills into practice as you assist real students in our classrooms and student salons.

This course is excellent for beauty professionals looking to take the next step in their careers. It can help you expand your skills, become a more confident teacher, and give you a new way to earn money and inspire the next generation of beauty professionals.

Two years of salon experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Current North Carolina cosmetologist license
